| Back in the Big D...er, well the Big I, really. I arrived yesterday
around 3 or so. Of course, I was only at the apartment for a few hours
before I was taken to Sherman for a night out on the town. Well,
dinner, "Ocean's Eleven" and sleeping on an extra long twin bed.
And then today, I got to go shopping with Sam and go to the AC library
book sale with Sam and Sally. And I got introduced as "fiance." So, I
guess when we start using those words, its official. In some time in
the future, I'll be Kerry Horton. I guess I'll have to get a new email
address then.
The show went amazingly well and I've been tempted to consider directing again next year, if my schedule can allow it.
Anywho, I guess I should finish unpacking all of the way, dry my hair
and get some sleep. Casual wedding dress browsing on Thursday and
Polyphonic Spree on Friday.

| The show is over. I feel good about it. I put my pay check in the bank
on Friday. I was also the recipient of a few gifts...over quite a few
gifts and a bottle of wine.
All I want to do now is hit the freakin' road but I've got a few
errands to run tomorrow morning. Sam's right. I should have taken the
money and run. Oh, well. I get to spend all day with him on Tuesday and
then Friday is the concert...finally.

| One more show. One more day. Then I can go home. I can sleep in a big
bed. I can hang out with my boyfriend. And I get to see the Polyphonic
Spree in 6 days!

| So at about 12:30 or so, there's the huge bang and then tires
sqeauling. So my mother wanders into my room and asks to to go out on
the front porch to see if there is a car in our front yard. So I look
and can't see anything. So I ask my brother, Jared, if he heard
anything...of course he didn't he was playing Halo 2. So we walk to the
end of our driveway and notice that the three mailboxes are gone and
the "Curved Road" sign is crumpled against a tree. So, there's a car
around Orange somewhere with a 2555 sticker on it and part of an Orange
Leader paper box stuck on the bumper. If you see it, let me know. Or if
you were said driver, come by and bring a new mailbox.
